make no mistake, if the world continues to deny the obvious again, we're going to see WW III before you turn around...

Aren't Newt Gingrich and Bill O'reilly already stating we are in WWIII?

GZ, I would like to apologize to you and anyone else who may have beeen offended by my use of what you describe as a curse word on your thread.

My reply to you on my last post was partly caused by my disappointment with the Republican party. I was once a party member until the Geo. Bush administration began to radically depart from what we stood for.

"What we stand for"

We believe the strength of our nation lies with the individual and that each person's dignity, freedom, ability and responsibility must be honored.
We believe in equal rights, equal justice and equal opportunity for all.
We believe government must practice fiscal responsibility.
We believe the proper role of government is to provide for the people only those critical functions that cannot be performed by individuals or private organizations.
We believe the best government is that which governs least.
We believe the most effective, responsible and responsive government is government closest to the people.
We believe that free enterprise and the encouragement of individual initiative lead to opportunities, economic growth and prosperity.

The administration policies and actions to make the United States into a globalized country that will destroy the middle class and put us on the same standards as those countries who do not enjoy the opportunities that we once had in the not so distant past.

Geo. Bush has taken us down a road that I believe will make us a Third World Nation and possibly cause WWlll with an all out war agains Islam. I will continue to post evidence of what this administration has done that will destroy the Middle Class and all people's hopes of being able to be successful based on hard work and loyalty to one's country and the standards that we once believed in.

The sentiment is clear enough.

What's not is a strategy to achieve success --- the word 'success' which I define as achieving America's LONG-TERM goals and asperations.

We still have a very favorable set of advantages, vs. our opponents. I would not trade the cards we have in our hands for those held by the 'other side'. But tactics that, in effect, 'shoot ourselves in the foot', and fall into traps deliberately set by the enemies of Western-style liberties, freedoms, and Democratic principles, are *not* viable options... although they may temporarily make us 'feel good', in the long-run they produce the very defeat that our enemies wish upon us but haven't the strength on their own to produce.

(IMO, what is needed is realism, brains, guile, and steadfastness in support of what has always made America desirable: individual liberties and free market Capitalism.... Pretty much the exact opposite of what 'stay the course' seems to mean in the context of Iraq's misbegotten occupation.)

I agree with you, but I fear Politicians are just to squeamish to get it done. Europe is being overrun with muslims so they have elected to kiss their asses thinking it will placate them. Fat chance. Even Bush seems to have weakened. I think this situation will get worse, not better until a real disaster hits the USA. Then MARTIAL LAW will be declared and we will treat anyone from the middle east the way we have been treated. Too bad it has to be that way, but thats the way I see it happening. jdn
