re: Another example of democratic justice taking root in Iraq. I hope that the trial will incorporate all of the elements of the law in ways that it would be prosecuted in the U.S.

They are being tried by a US Military court, there are no "examples of democratic justice taking root in Iraq"; the place is utter chaos. It's probably the most unjust place in the world.

re: Thankfully, the women of Iraq are now able to report this crime to the proper authorities

Are you kidding me? First, there are no "proper authorities". Second, the Iraqi's don't rape, they just torture and then kill. And that includes, especially, your vaunted, American trained Iraqi "police".

You need a shot of reality. The US has created the most God awful place on the planet.
