To: Jill who wrote (865 ) 8/7/2006 8:38:34 PM From: im a survivor Respond to of 974 Hey jill.....dont ask how I am ;>) .....dont want to lie or whine about my health....better to just say...Thanks much for asking and I am still here<g> Yea, I never got into MF too much either..they wrire some entertaining stuff, but seems live everything they write includes a pitch to 'buy their services' cant blame them, guess I would do the same as it is smart biz.... but, disregarding the source, the info is indeed acurate. it certainly does appear tasr has been 'misleading' when it comes to the liability/lawsuit thing.....I've always said...good companies dont need to be pumped...the ceos dont need to lie or deceive and etc, etc,.....this just raises the question as to why the would deceive....understand the pr's....they were legaly written so they had every right to pr it in that manner....but you must admitt, the prs were certainly misleading....leading people to believe they won or it was dismissed, which also means they won....when in reality, they were dismissed because they settled and it never went to court......that doesnt jibe with the actual interview they gave in which they said they would not settle....would not open the checkbooks and would vehimently fight any lawsuits and would never admit tasr was at fault.....they said alot in that interview that frankly was a lie....how can they say WE WILL NOT SETTLE...WE WILL NOT OPEN THE CHECKBOOK IF WE HAVE DONE NOTHING WRONG AND WILL FIGHT ANY LAWSUIT...and at the very time they are saying that, they have settled and are settling many of the suits.....and lets be real here...it may not be big bucks, but is tasr is settling, they are certainly paying to do so..... This may have no effect on the stock at all......doesnt look like it did...and lets face it.....this is the equity markets where deception is the norm, not the exception...I'm sure even the most well respected ceos on the planet have said a white lie or two.......I just thought what TASR was dojg/saying was a bit more 'blatant', then normal.....Hope all is well with you........Keith
