What are you talking about? Kuwait was drilling diagonally. You should bear in mind that the area the Kuwaitis were slant-drilling into was a contested territory between Iraq and Kuwait. gregcroft.com (look at the long green oil field that slightly crosses over into Kuwait) Not excusing it. But just amplifying on the facts. And it certainly didn't justify Saddam's brutal occupation of Kuwait.
