From what I can see, the PowerMacs are being snapped up before they finally disappear ( hardliner Apple fans )

This phenomenon is natural and probably not "hardliner" related. Multimedia professionals want to buy the fastest Power based Macs because native Adobe "Mac-Intel" applications are not scheduled until 2007. After the emulation layer, the new PowerMacs will NOT be faster in the most important Mac applications - Photoshop, Premier, etc. Here, speed does count, so if you don't have a top-end Power Mac, now is the time to get one to tide you over until the Adobe apps are ready.

(Which means that early 2007 might be a good time to look at Adobe stock...)

I was basing on 2-3% of 220 million cpus sold per year (with an expanding market)...so the past numbers should have been in the 1-2 million sold every quarter...maybe getting the lions share of the conroes and the new apple OS may boost sales a little...;>))))
