You know what? When I think about all the great artists who have been gay I am seriously worried about what the culture will lose if we ever manage to secure the technology to change things. I realize this is selfishness on my part, but many of the books and movies and plays I adore are written, or acted, or produced, by gay people. It will be a much bleaker world without people like David Sedaris in it.

You should have phrased that US same-sex advocates. What I'm doing is debating you all on the internet.

I'd have thought that was pretty obvious. But it seems you're not all that interested in debating the issue and have given up. OK
