"So what is driving high oil prices internationally? Among the various contenders, one factor is inescapable: the Iraq War."

btw, the BP Oil Pipeline situation contributes to a small amount of the current price of oil...it is a factor BUT it's nothing like the ongoing Iraq War.

After all, they are the ones who seemed to have failed to find the corrosion in the pipeline until now.

Doesn't everyone fail to find problems until they find them?

I would expect by now that everyone would be holding a significant oil position in their portfolio. I always smile when the price of gas goes up at the pump. Higher gas prices; more profit for the oil companies; and more capital gains for me. Go oil!
