Carl, Your points are excellent but they may actually point to immediate Israeli preemption of the iraninan capabillty, thus preventing israel from becoming a potential nuclear wasteland. Iran would indeed lash out at israel but at this point in time, israel has the advantages. Yes they would take hits in their cities but not major. Would the syrians automatically fire missiles and thus insure their own destruction? In talking to coming israeli demographic challenges, I think you may have made this case in your last posts to any israelis reading this thread. Mike
