Bush-Cheney hired Ralph Reed and Ed Gillespie right after Enron did. Enron paid for ads blaming their own gouging on democrats. Enron was Bush's #1 contributor over the years. Every other energy company that joined in the gouging was also a big Bush-Cheney insider, including James Baker's Reliant Energy. If you don't think that gouging was a politically and financially motivated down and dirty conspiracy you're blind.
