Tim, you are being duplicitous. I'll point out another very significant difference you left out: In Kuwait/Iraq you claim that no one actually proved that any oil Kuwait took, actual came from Iraq. In the case of Syria, I'll assure you that none of the water the Syrians were taking was Israeli water, since Syria controlled the headwaters while Israel was taking out downstream. Using your logic, Syria had every right to divert the water prior to it getting downstream to Israel.
