I'd bet that it will make Hilary change her tune, for one thing. She's already started being more vocal about criticizing Bush for how the war is being carried out, which I think is partially a result of Lieberman's trailing in the polls.

Maybe the rest of the Dems will start showing some backbone, too. That's not so much a prediction as a hope.
