I have not seen anything I would consider reliable wrt to those numbers, especially in light of the poor quality of info on many fronts regarding Iraq that we know with hindsight.

25 times as many people died in Algeria during the 1990s as were killed in both the Israeli/Pal intifadas, but how much did you read about it?

The Pal Israeli conflict is indeed quite small potatoes compared to many other conflicts around the world, and it indeed gets disproportionate coverage.
