Are you arguing with the statements (which are pretty self evident) or some supposed conclusion? In fact I don't see you arguing with anything... just making cheap characterizations.

I could say "Neo logic is stupid", but at least I explain why.

Ted, First, you never accurately report liberal logic.....instead you spin it to make it look bad.

I don't have to spin anything. With all due respect, here are two of Z's posts:

Terrorism is to fanatics and nations what the gun was for petite men versus strong men: a great equalizer.

With all due respect what? What he said is not something new or irreverent. Its not liberal logic. It's fact. Why do you think people pick up guns? It gives them instant power. Why do you think people resort to terrorism when up against a much more powerful foe? It evens out the playing field to some degree.

What you are doing here is what the GOP is very good at doing. It suggests/implies/hints that there is something underhanded or wrong about a statement......even going so far as to distort the statement. Z said nothing wrong.

Who's killed many, many more people?

You said you thought the criticism of Israel was disportionate. Z response suggests that Israel is getting more criticism because it has killed that many more people. Again that's less to do with logic and more to do with truth. The person or entity that does the most damage usually gets the most criticism. By your standard, two guys that tear up a cemetary and hit the custodian over the head should not be criticized at all. Now that's not logical.

And Z is one of the more reasonable liberals. If I don't agree with his logic, just think how far out of whack I find the logic of the other liberals on this thread?

What you have trouble agreeing with is reality. Everything is totally black and white for you. The Israelis are gods and hezbollah are the scum of the earth. You ignore the bad stuff that Israel has done to Lebanon over the years. All of that bad stuff is expunged and only the bad stuff of Hezbollah remains on the slate. Sorry, Ten, nothing is that simple or clear cut. Reality is a mixture of grays and blurred images.

Besides, even if Israelis were saints, nothing excuses them for what they have done to Lebanon in the past three weeks. Nothing.......and frankly, I don't care how many people say otherwise. Any sympathy I had for their cause is gone. As civilized people, the Israelis have lost their moral compass. IMO.

Hezbollah targets civilians an d the Israelis pre-warn all civilians to clear out before they attack. Big difference. Liberals need to get real on this issue. Israel is not the aggressor.

Israel Is not commiting atrocities. It is hammering Hezbollah which happens to be dug into areas which are sometimes civilian areas. However, Israel forewarned the civilians to clear out, so if they are still there, they become fair game.

There is nothing wrong with taking out Hezbollah, especially after their deadly incursion into Israel.

srael never kills civilians on purpose. Like any guerilla war, when terrorists are mixed in with sympathetic civilians, both become part of the fight. Israel warned all civilians to clear out of South Lebanon 4-5 days ago. That gets them off the hook for any collateral damage.

Hezbollah did not warn Israeli civilians to clear out.
