The Augusta National Golf Club membership is by invitation only. It is a private club and so far no women have become members. It is possible some have been invited but declined. The Club runs the Master's Tournament and while they can "invite" a few players most are eligible by other qualifications e.g. former winners, leaders on the current money list, British Open winner, US Open winner etc. etc. Women such as Michelle Wie would be eligible if they could win a PGA Tour event (a few events are excluded). Net net Howell Raines and Martha Berk are jerks. Jayson Blair is an African American wannabe....promoted to a pay grade above his skill level.
