Get a tank sprayer, one gallon if you can find one. Get some RoundUp concentrate and let your husband mix it. Pump it up and pull the trigger and it will kill that stuff. Oops, you have to spray it on the leaves of the plants you want to kill.

RoundUp works on one gene in a plant, now we have RoundUP ready crops that lack that gene. Last year was a dry year and one guy I know didn't want to buy Ready beans. Disked his field 3 times to kill the weeds and let the moisture out. Crop failure.
