People look at these big lots and salivate hoping to own something like it someday. Then they move in and are a slave to the yard. Works if you don't have anything else to do. I haven't ever really liked gardening, but found myself doing most of it here. This year I am letting everything go and if hubby doesn't like it he can pull the weeds.

I'm on strike. ;)

We have a few friends who collect horse manure from us for their gardens. I use it myself. After it is broken down it is excellent soil amendment.
