You can call it anything you want, but if your spouse is sleeping with someone else, your spouse is not being faithful. And alas for "the center", because our elected representatives represent their entire constituency, not just their party. I would say that Lieberman's defeat presages further polarization, not less. The Democrats are moving back to the McGovern wing -- maybe y'all will win all the marbles that way, if so, more power to you. But if I come here in November crowing about Republican victories, that the right kicked ass, and so forth, I would hope that Dale would snarl at me for partisanship.
