I did this swap yesterday. I wanted to acquire MMM, and I had had a good ride on JNJ from sub 57. Downside is the gain was short term....other downside is that JNJ may continue to go up, and MMM down!;>)

I think if one has a long perspective, this is a good buy point for a high quality blue chip like MMM.
