When you start a new thread you can choose to allow or not allow recommendations, therefore you can just start a new thread without recommendations.

My oh my. Wasn't that a riveting little soapbox rant?

See "ahhaha's ahs above? Click it.

See "Modify Subject" above and to the left? Click it.

See "Allow Recommendations? [ ] Yes [ ] No? Click the radio button next to "No".

See the button that says [Submit]? Click it.

Voila! No more recs.

Next time you might just try asking.

While you are at it get him to fix the ignore feature. It doesn't do anything but tally up disapproval ratings, and block PMs.

I would rather have it called 'Block PMs' if that is all it does, or have it be a 'disapproval voting' system since that is what most people use it for.

I liked the old functionality. I was able to block all PMs from my profile with one click.
