Gib, an elitist is one who thinks people have by nature a certain station in life. The world and history (as you well know) is replete with people who look down on people with less money, power or status.

In fact from time immorial that is how our societies have been set up. I will not call a person a doctor, as that is elitist.

An heirarchael society is elitist by nature if you thinkk about it. Bush believes in a heirarchael society with him at the top-lol.

Like kings and queens, the old money power brokers (skull and bones!), east coast power brokers like the rockefellers, caste systems like in India, etc.

Marshall Mcleun (one of my primary mentors) said a society should have roles not be heirarchael and I agree. I used to get tons of first class upgrades as I flew so much. I always gave them away and refuse to fly first class. I have never flown first class in my life-that is elitist IMO.

What do you think VIP means-lol?

buhs's harvard professor said bush was an elitist i.e. he considers his upper class status to be natural, real and important. He sure does much more for the rich and powerful than the poor. why do you think he does that?

Bush does not worry about the poor, that much is very clear.

He tied the minimum wage increase which is way overdue to killing the estate tax for the very rich. About 11,000 of the richest people in the US. 50% of his tax cuts affected 1/10 of one % of the people.

How cynical, elitist and insensitive is that?

Being rich in itself is not elitist but can be elitist if one wants to be that way. remember that horrible woman who refferd to the poor as: "the little people"-lol.

Segregation and slavery were pretty elitist-lol.

All people on earth have equal value. bush does not beleive that. Which is elitist-lol.

Gib, how do you think bush got into Yale and Harvard-lol? He was such a poor student he could not have gotten into any college which had sholastic requirements of any kind.

Bush's dad had so much power he got bush in. Bush has been the recipiant of special favors all his life. Go look at all his failed businesses and who bailed him out? go see how much money the saudi's gave bush!

There is a great book called "House of bush, house of saud". by craig Unger. A very distrubing book. The saudi's are very elitist-lol.

A regular kid with buh's grades could never have gotten in to harvard or Yale. And how much did bush's power contribute even to his c average. He was most like a d/f student to whom they gave c's-lol.

The rich and powerful get special priviliages even in our democracy.

The thing I loved most about New Zealand was how the entire country is pretty middle class. Not a lot of rich and not a lot of poor.
