Perhaps you can use the peoplemark/ignore ratio as an indicator of signal to noise in reccomendations? :)

Triumph of Hope over Experience Will Jay Short GOOG again? Will you dear General? Why does someone want to remind him of one failure when he has had so many successes - failure builds character. And I won't even mention shorting Google ('oops I just did) when it was suggested here:} BWAHAHA - that was a good post and echoes many of the "feelings" I have about the dear General - I love him so much - but being the former emporer of china's grandson and living in HK with his contacts does not do much for those of us here. I had considered going into his phoenix fund - but I have friends and family on the city council investing here locally - city marshall types don't stick it to me like they do those yankee investors - hehe. So I had to pass feeling also the General would always get preferential treatment to any western pigman. As I recommended to Vosilla about reading Bald Man from Mars in the late 90's here on SI - I will recommend here again - he was right about the tech bubble - he bet the farm shorting it back in 99 - he lost all his hair, his wife, his farm, they ripped his farking baltz off! Lost his dog when they called his shorts - he timed it wrong and was wiped out - but he made us all laugh everyday with how much more hair he pulled out as the market kept going up and up against his short. He was eventually right after they milked all they could. I believe wall street has become a casino to milk all us investors out of our loose money - all they need is fluctuation to knock apples off the cart - doesnt matter if the cart is going up a hill or down one. Bald man from mars recently said GOOG would be double digits by the end of the year and shorted it at the upper 300's - some people NEVER learn - Russ Winter posted one of the greatest quotes I have read on this SI in a long while: Message 22699655 Marriage is the triumph of imagination over intelligence. Second marriage is the triumph of HOPE over EXPERIENCE. Don trump is on 3rd marriage eh? Don't be a sucker fool like him.
