I guess the point of post was that what is happening in the Middle East which is portrayed as negative is actually positive compared to the past false stability situation.

Why not say that in the opening sentence called a "topic sentence".

A civil war in Iraq is fine. We can withdraw our forces to the desert to about 20000 special forces with airpower to prevent other countries involvment, another terrorist dictator or AQ type involvment. And Israel is better off fighting now before Iran has nuclear deterrant and Hezbollah/Syria even stronger.

You could have added the above as "concluding sentences". Joined with the topic your post would have been more focussed.

I was replying to Darlenes opinion which was different.

This is not a geopolitical thread so sorry.

SI Admin thinks it was, or thinks this "board" is predominantly political and wants to move it accordingly. Obviously Dave doesn't read us.
