Just who managed the Company into bankruptcy anyway? The argument used is that "we have to keep talented management on board, so need to keep paying them these amounts" seems a bit counterintuitive when looking at the results of their "talents".

I agree completely.

We will will know that 'pension reform' is seriously adopting the mandate of 'do not screw the taxpayers any longer' when Congress reforms this wee little piece of bankruptcy law....

(Wouldn't recommend holding your breath too long waiting, though. It might cut into campaign contributions too much. :-)
