What does the price of GM approaching QCOM have to do with anything? You need to look at market caps to make an apples to apples comparison. FWIW, GM's marketcap is $18B and QCOM's is $58B.

I think some positive steps QCOM could take to maximize shareholder's value are:

Hire a sharp CMO to deal with the Media and combat the never ending FUDD head on.

Get a handle on increasing R&D and SG&A costs
