I realized that the Lebanese are as close to us in temperament, intelligence and sophistication as the Israelis. Much closer than the Iraqis or even the Saudis. Ted, does the above sentence imply that you think the Saudis are closer to us in temperament, intelligence and sophistication than the other groups listed? If so, you got some reading to do.... Saudis don't let females drive. They don't let females leave the home without a direct male relative accompanying them. Saudis live by strict Sharia law. They are the furthest from Americans of the groups you mentioned. They are probably the furthest from Americans of any group of reasonably wealthy people on the planet.
