What I'm reading/hearing is that the Dems have a better chance for the House than the Senate. I suppose there will be a lot more handicapping of their chances in the next 30 days. So far nobody seems to have a good grasp.

At the elevent hour things change. Lieberman was losing by 12 points in the polls until yesterday. The right wing propaganda machine is a formidable weapon of mass distortion and vilification.

He also was the incumbent. Incumbents have an edge.....many people at the last moment will switch back to the known commodity.

Not quite true. It seems that the poll that said that Lamont was up double digits was an outlier. All other polls leading up to the election had him up 5-6 points, I believe, and that was right around his margin.
