Kudlow on M1 and M2

I rather stay in my apartment alone.

Did you ever read 20K leagues under the sea? Even Captain Nemo needed a crew. No man is an island for long. Das BOOT was another good movie - took a crew to make the ship run eh?
I think I saw a steve martin movie once where he tried to live alone and his life got miserable - THE JERK I think it was called.

Would that not be a change from the usual run to the bank pledging your own financial volatility for peanuts?

Bank loan officers are very silly if you ask me - I know a few personally and they don't know better than me where to invest - they make loans to friends and son in laws and Madame Fleiss hooker types - as Russ often points out.

Anyways Kudlow just talked about M1 being the supply of money and it was petering out in growth rates - M2 he said was the demand for money and its growth was higher than M1's growth - so he said inflation was contained. He didn't mention M3 though - I guess it is irrelevant. He was very upset we are going to arrest maybe 600 CEO's who backdated options just so that some fancy pants lawyer can get headlines and make a career.
