Well... 99% of the scientists in the field will disagree with THAT STATEMENT... 'course I'll concede that doesn't mean that it might not turn out to be true, or even close to true.

Stranger things have happened....

Still... I wouldn't put any important bets on that prospect (and, neither it seems are most of the worlds biotech investors... with the bulk of the investment dollars, and yen, and pounds, and euro, etc., that are pouring into the research weighted in favor of greater potential being found in pluripotent stem cells.)

Re: "less controversy"

(Guess that depends on if one believes there is really much of a 'controversy' there to begin with. IMO, the global public vastly favors such research, and history is trending further and further in support of that as well.... And, as the case of Galileo shows --- eventually even 'know-it-all Churchs' will come around and repudiate their previously immoral positions.... Not necessarily 'right away' though! :-)
