I thought I saw the lovely Ms. Coulter on Fox today admitting the Democrats are going to pick up very large number of seats in the mid-term elections. Susan Estrich (hard to take at any time), seemed to me to be twisting poor Annie in knots, which culminated in Ann's admission that the demos will add a lot of seats which "they should do" because it is the thing that happens to the party out of power in mid-term elections.

But how does this admission make sense in light of her rant about democrats having no sense or direction? Will people just vote for democrats cause they aren't republicans? If the demos so "hate Bush" (the words are never far apart in Annie's writings. "Bush -hating- dems") and Bush is a good guy and republicans have the better answers, why will the democrats pick up so many seats, by her admission?

Are the voters all stupid? Or is there something more at work...like perception of failed republican policies.

Ann Coulter? GZ, please, give me a break. At least post differing opinions to me from someone with just a smigeon of credibility. I respect and like guys like John McCain but Ann is the most asinine creep around.

I am trying to tone down my rhetoric on your thread out of respect for you and your opinions so I won't go into the real facts about what is wrong in the republican party.

I will post what I believe should be the aims of the Republican Party. Once they start abiding by these promises I might join you.

WHAT THE REPUBLICAN PARTY BELIEVES

We believe the strength of our nation lies with the individual and that each person's dignity, freedom, ability and responsibility must be honored.
We believe in equal rights, equal justice and equal opportunity for all.
We believe government must practice fiscal responsibility.
We believe the proper role of government is to provide for the people only those critical functions that cannot be performed by individuals or private organizations.
We believe the best government is that which governs least.
We believe the most effective, responsible and responsive government is government closest to the people.
We believe that free enterprise and the encouragement of individual initiative lead to opportunities, economic growth and prosperity.

That's Coulter as in "Ya gotta LOVE Coulter"...

<<Congresswoman Maxine Waters had parachuted into Connecticut earlier in the week to campaign against Lieberman because he once expressed reservations about affirmative action, without which she would not have a job that didn't involve wearing a paper hat. Waters also considers Joe "soft" on the issue of the CIA inventing crack cocaine and AIDS to kill all the black people in America.>>
