The French are helping keep Afghanistan and Kosovo from going under while Bush mires our military in a senseless dishonest occupation in Iraq. Although Afghanistan is backsliding. The French will also take the leader in Lebanon if the violence ever dies down. Bush's policies and failures are partly responsible for Hezbollah's outbreak. I am no lover of the French but the US rightwing's smears against them were patently dishonest and self-defeating. French was 100% right not to back Bush on his Iraq invasion. So were a lot of countries. Those that did back Bush severely regret it now. Except maybe Kuwait.
