Oh and if you need to paste with a fixed reference (say all cells in a column reference a single cell): Edit the formula (after it works in one cell); insert a $ before the fixed reference (i.e. =+C$1 - would be able to copy down and it would still refer to the first row in every cell it was pasted into). (=+$A$1 would refer to the value in A1 regardless of where you copied it to - so +B$1 + B2 would copy down one row resulting in +B$1 + B3 - or copy right resulting with + C$1 + C2)

ROTFL because I know you are really confused now. If you master it you may find it quite useful.
