Exactly Paul. IT is fundamentally fraudulent what the MM's can legally do. I know that sounds like a oxymoron.
MM as we all know are not legally required to represent our orders and most often totally portray a false picture in Level II.

Level II is suppose to be the vehicle to give us a level playing field. What Freaking BS!!!!!

I have been on the phone with the broker, who makes a market in a stock. Had the broker instruct the MM to represent me. The MM refused and the broker had to sit there while I fired order after order at different buys and sells electronically and watch the reflected Level II not show my orders. The whole time, I am forcing him to watch the blatant manipulation. Then I had him place the order manually, which is what is truly happening anyway because it is a manual system, and still, the lineup was a false picture.

Obviously, the faster the market is moving on a hot stock, the more blatant the manipulation

I would love a completely electronic transparent system and laws preventing what is currently taking place.
