When those Toll Bros. houses that people bought last year for $750k to $900k start showing up as resales at $350k to $450k - When Florida condos that were bought for $500k start showing up as having sold for $225k - When California ranches that sold last year for $800k start showing up as having been resold for $350k - When median selling prices are back in line with median incomes and "everyone" says real estate is a terrible investment, "the last place you want to have your capital tied up in." That will be the news.
