Once she is here, she will soon learn from American women friends and divorce lawyers how to take advantage. If he is the immigrant, then his advantage is a green card and perhaps citizenship and if the lady has assets then she could be vulnerable to abuse, at least in some States. If it is a sham marriage, with some financial incentive for the American partner in order for the alien partner to get into the USA. Then they are both breaking the law with all the consequences that implies. Of course, I see that you have an :) in there, so maybe I am being too serious and you know this already. :} regards Ray

These folks that do this Moo - do they have the person sign contracts that can't be later overturned from a judge? Why couldn't you find an american to marry and get yourself on the fast track? Do you know anyone personally that has done this? I have read bits and pieces on the net of people getting paid 10K for the marriage so an asian could come over. Sam Sloan only wanted to marry foreign women - he got a few middle eastern and asian wives - couldn't stand american ones for some reason.
