You'd have to be nuts to buy property in China Well he must have been considering - was he nuts when he was considering to buy? As you can see they just changed the rules on foreign investors/residents. Yah I think I got those chinese figured out pretty well - they steal our military technology - pay off clinton so their spies can steal some more - steal bill G and others software and brands - preach about globalization and the rising tide lifting all the boats and for the USA to open up her markets and expose her belly to them - and then when its time for shades to go over there and buy and house and bring them some capitalism first hand they slam the door in his face and start emulating the japanese that they claim they hate and don't want to be like. They send thier brainwashed children of the cultural revolution to come here and do whatever else they can too - hehe.

Many overseas Chinese (US citizens) have pooled their money together, and go back to China as house shopping groups, buying hundreds of condos/apartments, just for flipping and making money!! Now tell me, can ANY Chinese, at their own will, with a traveller visa, buying houses here in the US, and live here for as long as they like?? I don't think so! As a matter of fact, until recently, the US has NOT even open the US boarder to the regular Chinese tourists! not to mention allow them to buy any property here! Even for those who have already admitted by the US universities, about 40% of them CANNOT get visa! Thousands of foreigners work in China now and do NOT even need any work permit! Can you say the same thing about the US?? And many foreigners live all year round in China in some nice places, taking advantage of the cheap Yuan, and thus extremely low cost of living for foreigners. They can live as long as they like, as long as they have valid passport and visa, and there is NO any incidence that foreigners have been rejected for visa (unless those who have done some spy works for foreign intelligence agencies and got expelled). Can you say the same thing about the US??? And China should have done this a loooog time ago! Some overseas people went to some small/medium size Chinese cities, and buy 100 apartments, and then sell for big profit. low income Chinese locals are suffering from this! China has been THE MOST OPEN country in the world in the last 2 decades. For the last decade, until early this year, China has virtually NO Custom declaration. People who enter China did NOT even need to fill in ANY form! Can you tell me Any other countries on this planet allow foreigners to do that?? My luggages have been searched TWICE bottom up/inside out before I can enter the US! The list can go on and on. But you should get the idea! Edit, I forgot to mention that it is a such a shame that China is also one of few countries that treat Foreigners Better than their own citizens!
