A few years back a song was written about my life:

 My mother was a tailor
She sewed my new bluejeans
My father was a gamblin' man
Down in New Orleans

It's all true!
Except my mother wasn't actually a tailor ...
and my father wasn't into gambling ....
and we didn't live in New Orleans ...

But he important part is true. I did get some new blue jeans.
The strange thing about blue jeans these days is that they look like I've been working on my car all day, even when they are new. I noticed that they still have indigo warp threads , but the weft is kind of a grey color instead of white. I guess I don't have to wash them anymore.
