Regarding Cantwell, she just made a big concession to the local, anti war people and one of them has joined her staff.

Interesting...that's not a primary (party) poll anymore, right

Are you asking if she has the election sewed up......I don't think so although I haven't seen any polls. Three things are helping her........making peace with the anti war people; getting more critical of the war and as it turns out, her GOP opponent was given $28 million from his company as he resigned his CEO position to run for the Senate. Presumably he will use the money in his campaign but he denies it. Nonetheless, people are outraged over that one.......last week, a shareholder filed suit against the company......and its put his campaign in a very negative light.

Major problem for Cantwell right now is she isn't a very likable figure.......she doesn't have much charisma. Plus she's not from WA state originally.

One other thing.......WA state is not all that liberal esp eastern WA. And even Seattle isn't as liberal as its national image suggests.
