Christ said "blessed are the peace-makers", not those who lie and mislead to start a big war and occupation which creates more death and hatred and instead of solving problems makes them far worse. Christ also said very clearly that rich people must give away all their wealth to the poor (instead of taking from the poor to give to the rich as Bushies do) or they have virtually no chance of ever being "saved". Christ also called upon people to be good shepherds and stewards of God's natural wonders, that is our environment. Christ also railed against those who commercialize religious and take the Lord's name in vain, for instance by comparing the Lord to corrupt politicians. In general, he despised hypocrites, which Bushies certainly are when they moralize or claim they are winning this so-called "war on terror" by removing civil liberties and perpetuating the failed policies in Iraq.
