Bush turned Iran from a potential menace into a real threat. A wiser leader would have smoozed with Iran and de-fanged them. Remember what the Godfather said, keep your friends close and your enemies closer. Bush goes about it totally wrong. He shouts at enemies, snubs them, rattles their cages and calls them names in public. That just makes them more dangerous. And since we have no real military option against Iran, it's also very stupid. Plus, iran is now motivated to further destabilize Iraq, which is already about as unstable as it gets thanks to Bush's totally lack of pre-planning. And remember if Iran gets pissed off enough they can jack the price of oil up over $100.
