Scoobah, you need to crack down on the neo-fascist World War III supporters on your thread. That's not a discussion, it's a hotbed of far rightwing propaganda, almost all of which is total BS. Did you read the crapola that one guy posted about Kerry from Worldnetdaily? That is pure smear campaign stuff, 100% dishonest, meant to deceive the reader.

So instead of banning truth-tellres like me (and I do back up my points) try going after the kind of BS artists who got us into the Iraq debacle to begin with. Just a tip. Otherwise, I could care less about your stupid thread.

Even if Iran had attacked us, which they never did, we have no military options in Iran beyond a bombing campaign. And why would we do that? Where would we drop the bombs? And what would the blowback be?

Our troop strength and ground equipment is so badly depleted in Iraq and the security there is so impossible that we couldn't spare 5000 men for Iran, a country three times as big as Iraq and much better armed than Saddam was.

Back in the 80's Reagan and Ollie North used to ship tons and tons of weapons to Iran and Saddam both. I wonder how many of those same weapons might now be being used against us in Iraq.

Bush 41 was a smart man and stayed out of Iraq. Bush 43 is a stupid greedy pin-head who doesn't understand reality and created the biggest blunder in US military policy since 1965. We'll be lucky if we get out with under a trillion dollars and 30,000 US casualties wasted for nothing.

Bush admits he's given up trying to catch Bin Laden and those responsible for 9-11. thinkprogress.org

So who is he trying to catch or kill? All his illegal domestic spying? On who? Bet you anything he's muich more concerned about domestic political opponents than even the most heinous terrorists on earth. In fact, his dirty secret is he wants terrorism to continue. It helps him stay bin power and it helps double the price of oil.
