<If they where trying to kill non-combatants there wouldn't be maybe a thousand dead> Israel knows its quota. They "only" created one million refugees, and "only" killed a thousand Lebanese in response to a handful of dead Israelis. They didn't kill them all so you say they showed great restraint and the thousand dead innocent children prove beyond doubt that these are unintended deaths because the number could have been higher. Yours is an empty and meaningless attempt to exonerate Israel for these war crimes. You know those American soldiers who raped and murdered that girl in Iraq and her family could not possibly have done it on purpose, otherwise there would be many more dead and raped. Your logic is no logic at all -- just the typical drivel we have come to expect from Israelis mouthpieces.

Israel has to keep the Lebanese civilian deaths below a certain carefully calculated threshold, so they can deny, obsfucate and marginalize them. As long as the ratio is 10 to 1, it's within their parameters.
