Hey boobus, Al Qaida is not a country. Iran, North Korea and Syria are countries. You can talk to countries even if you don't like them. It helps a great deal and costs us nothing. Talking to Al Qaida is much more difficult. And we're not supposed to negotiate with terrorist groups, although of course we do.

Hey didn't Bush say that any country harboring terrorists is just as bad as the terrorists themselves? Then why did he pick Pakistan and Saudi Arabia as his two biggest allies in the Arab world? Both of them have a long history of appeasing terrorists.
