And the demographic trends say we are all aging and living longer further fueling the demand.

All this hyperinflation/deflation talk is giving me a headache and I need Pfizer around more than ever. If I totally believed Mish the easy way is put it all in 30 yr treasuries and sleep easy while everybody else implodes. Pass throughs of RE and oil are not inflationary I'm being told now? Tell that to everyone in the real world. Shades pass the medication please<g>

Bottom line in a stable world with low oil prices and flat home prices and no natural disasters and no wars and balanced budgets and tight monetary policies we still grow the monetary aggregates at a decent clip and inflation runs at anywhere from 1-3% like we did during the 1990's. Today we are at the complete opposite end of that spectrum.
