Ted, You really don't get the picture, do you? How often do I hear about all of the billions of dollars America spends on war when we could be spending it on social services, health care, poverty, etc.? Three billion is in the form of military hardware and the rest of the six billion is used to fund their deficit which is caused by their military spending. But that's not the important takeaway........the important one is that Israel is not self sustaining. For the life of me, I will never understand how the US got into this predicament. Sounds like willful ignorance on your part. If I can understand it, so can you, unless you don't think traditional ethnic, cultural, and religious ties should matter at all. I see......you feel because the Israelis are Jewish and very much like us that its not surprising we are in the pickle we are in. Is that right?
