Alright -- so Lebanon just finished an alleged civil war, so what? I would suggest they lost their freedom to Syria and have never regained it. It was bogus civil war at best that gained them nothing. As it stands, Lebanon is actually a conquered/occupied nation. Hezbalah has occupied Lebanon as a puppet for Iran years for over twenty years. It seem to this observer that the Lebanese lack the will to react in their own self-interest. Good Lord, even the French had an underground to assist the allies during the German occupation. Isn't it odd, Israel may be offering Lebanon it's only ticket to national survival.
