Those Enron rules are still in place and they cover all kinds of energy derivatives. Basically it allows them to trade OTC electronically and without CFTC oversite i.e. ICE.

I wish I could figure out how they are gaming the system, then I could play too ;-)

Could the "pipeline fiasco" be just a diversion from the fact that maybe there is not that much oil left in this particular oil field ? (3/4 water cut suggests this field is very mature)
