You do the best you can. The alternative sometimes is appeasement by a variety of different names. In order to avoid confronting terrorism for example, some would trade in our relationship with israel by using modern day revisionism (thats revising history on the fly, regardless of what ones eye's see or ear's hear as in israel started this current war). Your sympathy for lebanese civilians is heartfelt i am sure and i feel the same way. I also feel that more than anything else i do not want the US to have an hizbolla on our border or have successful al quaeda attacks. Some posters here use poster like you for their own benefit. Believe it or not they root for the enemy to succeed and are unhappy when a terror attack is prevented.
