humorous entertainment Many people will pay far more for entertainment than education - if you take away the hissy fits, take away the elroy/grace knockdown dragouts, take away all the color and flair and personality and emotions - what is SI left with? I thought mao tried the cultural revolution and making everyone equal wearing jumpsuits and people don't really like that eh? hehe Trostky bores me to tears - his occassional joke is all I really care to see ILD post his stuff for - that makes me laugh. Do you really want an emotionless community of Vulcans? Sure you might make millions in a few short months with such depth and understanding - but what fun is that? I had a rich friend that bought an expensive house in an upscale community - he said it kept the lower class rabble out - he also only pays for very expensive news letters/money managers because of the same reason I suppose. He doesn't come here to get exposed to emotion - he could afford to pay to get away from that. hehe

Healthy interaction by bright people is what helps us all evolve a deeper understanding of the world in which we find ourselves.' I agree but please don't let that stop you from posting more often than you have recently. As you say healthy interaction by many bright people from various backgrounds and locations is the best way for us to understand what is really going on beneath the surface. Not what DC or Wall Street or the NAR or even Mish wants you to believe<g>
