Still, the sect (practically sponsored by certain of the authorities in Saudi Arabia) is an outgrowth of the Sunni branch of Islam --- they are MOST DEFINITELY NOT SHI'A! Re: "Calling a Wahhabi a Sunni is about as similar to calling Barbara Streisand an Orthodox Jew." Interesting analogy... I don't know much about her, is she considered to be especially MORE RADICAL AND FUNDAMENTALIST then the average Orthodox Jew?
