I hope the question IS asked. What impact DOES your position on the war have. Good question. Ought to be asked. And if people think this war was a foolish "investment" then they ought to vote for a person who didn't or wouldn't have supported it, if one is available. That's democracy. If they think the war was sensible, then they should vote for candidates that supported it. I don't see the big problem with democrats deciding, in Con., that they don't want to be represented by a candidate who supported the war. Seems valid to make a candidate's record on a big issue like that part of the process.
